Why Marian Doctrine Matters

[Direct link to the MP3 fileSubscribe using a modern podcast app]

In this sermon Father discusses the Catholic doctrine that the Blessed Virgin Mary is rightly called Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all Graces, that these titles belong to the deposit of faith and are consistently taught by Scripture, Tradition, the Fathers, Doctors, Saints, and Popes. Denying these Marian titles undermines authentic Christology, rejects the Church’s historical teaching authority, and results in doctrinal collapse masked by false ecumenism. We need unwavering devotion to Our Lady, especially in the present age of crisis, presenting her as God’s chosen instrument for the final victory over error and the salvation of souls.

Key quotes from this sermon:

  • St. Louis de Montfort: “God wishes to make Mary better known in the latter times.”
  • St. Alphonse Liguori: “If you call on Our Lady promptly in temptation, it is an infallible sign that you will not fall.”
  • St. Maximilian Kolbe: “Mary is Co-Redemptrix because she is the Immaculate Conception, uniquely united to the Holy Ghost.”
  • St. Vincent of Lérins: “We must hold what has been believed everywhere, always, and by all.”
  • St. Jerome: “The whole world groaned and was astonished to find itself Arian.”
  • St. John Eudes: “All the Fathers of the Church clearly teach that Mary is Co-Redemptrix with Christ in the work of salvation.”

Soldiers of the Immaculate with Fr. Isaac #052: Yellow Brick Road to Hell

[Direct link to the MP3 fileSubscribe using a modern podcast app]

In this episode Father discusses the profound crisis in the Church rooted in the Second Vatican Council, synodality, and modern ecclesial reforms which contradict prior infallible teaching and have led to doctrinal confusion, liturgical collapse, and moral corruption. The suppression of the traditional Roman Rite, the promotion of moral errors — especially regarding sexuality — and the infiltration of the Church by hostile forces are signs of a long-prophesied apostasy and an approaching chastisement. We must practice spiritual resistance through prayer, penance, fidelity to tradition, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and serious study of the saints and doctors of the Church.

The Assumption of Mary: Triumph of Love

[Direct link to the MP3 fileSubscribe using a modern podcast app]

In this sermon Father discusses the dogma of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary as defined by Pope Pius XII, emphasizing the Church’s infallible authority to proclaim divinely revealed truths and the necessity of assenting to every dogma of the Catholic faith. Mary’s Assumption is inseparable from her perfect detachment from sin and the world, her total conformity to the will of God, and her unique participation in Christ’s redemptive work through love, suffering, and humility. Let us imitate Mary and the saints by practicing detachment, living sacramentally, preparing daily for death, and trusting in Our Lady’s powerful intercession for perseverance and salvation.

Key quotes from this sermon:

  • St. Thomas Aquinas: “To reject one dogma is to reject them all.”
  • St. Robert Bellarmine: The Art of Dying Well — “To die well, one must first die to the world.”
  • St. Bernard of Clairvaux: “Blessed is that death which is purchased at any price.”
  • St. Francis of Assisi: “My God and my all.”
  • St. John of the Cross: “One may be attached even to something holy, such as a rosary.”
  • St. Augustine of Hippo: “Before sin, the devil tells you God is merciful; after sin, he tells you God will never forgive.”
  • St. Alphonsus Liguori: “As you live, so you will die.”
  • St. John Vianney: Assurance given to Augustine Cohen regarding his mother’s salvation through Marian intercession.
  • St. Bernardine of Siena: Christ Himself went forth to meet His Mother at her Assumption.
  • St. Anselm of Canterbury: Christ ascended first in order to prepare and accompany Mary to her heavenly throne.
  • St. Peter Damian: The Assumption of Mary surpasses even the Ascension in splendor.
  • St. John Damascene: Christ Himself gave Mary Holy Viaticum before her Dormition.
